Only 23 more days until Thanksgiving, but who’s counting!?! For being the biggest foodie of all times, Thanksgiving is one meal I never seem too cook! Once again we will be jetting off to visit family and they will be doing all of the cooking while I sit back with a glass of champagne in my hand, enjoying some family time.
Since I do live in the middle of no where with family living thousands of miles away, cooking a huge turkey on Thanksgiving can be pretty wasteful unless a weeks worth of Turkey sandwiches are your jam! I know after day two, I’m turkeyed our! When hubby and I are home for turkey day, we usually go the turkey tenderloin route. Buy a double pack. That way we each have enough turkey for dinner and more for later!!! This is my very traditional, Turkey Breast Tenderloins recipe. Exactly how I would cook a giant turkey and just as juicy! Enjoy!!
• 2 Turkey Tenderloins ( 1 1/2-2lbs Package)
• 1/2 TSP Black Pepper
• 3/4 TSP Salt
• 1 TSP Garlic Powder
• Melted Butter
Preheat your oven 400°F. Place turkey tenderloins in baking dish. Smother in butter. Make sure you coat the turkey and there is a little bit of butter at the bottom of the baking dish. The turkey will soak the butter up while baking!
Sprinkle with 3/4tsp salt, 1/2tsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic.
Place rosemary on top of each turkey tenderloin. Roast for about 45 minutes or until a cooking thermometer registers 161°F.
Allow the turkey breast tenderloins to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
