STRAWBERRY VINAIGRETTE
Tis the season of all things strawberry! Atleast here in WNY it seems that way. I can't walk into a store without seeing a killer deal on this delicious fruit!

Since every market seems to be stuffing strawberry everything down people's throats, I decided instead of rolling my eyes at another strawberry sign, to embrace it & to start using strawberries in the kitchen . One of the first things on my strawberry cooking list was mastering a strawberry vinaigrette.

After a a few weeks of trial and error and my poor hubby having to eat countless salads for dinner with me, ( yes we really ate that many lol) I have finally mastered my very own strawberry vinaigrette recipe.

Hubby is beyond thrilled the salad craze has come to an end & I'm stoked to have my very own strawberry vinaigrette recipe!

Enjoy!
STRAWBERRY VINAIGRETTE
Ingredients

1 package of strawberries
half a lemon squeezed
2tbs red wine vinegar
2tbs olive oil
1/4 cup sugar
1tbs honey

STRAWBERRY VINAIGRETTE
place all your ingredients into the blender, food processor, or in my case margarita machine ;-)
STRAWBERRY VINAIGRETTE
Blend everything together until you get a nice liquid.
STRAWBERRY VINAIGRETTE
Ta-Da!!!!! You now have homemade strawberry vinaigrette! It really is that easy!

What a great way to use all the strawberries we picked this year!

How long can this keep before it needs to be tossed?
We have some strawberries that need to be used up over the next couple of days and this would be perfect.

Looks so refreshing! I am surprised that we are not seeing a lot of strawberries here in the city this year. They are more expensive than usual as well. Guess they are all in Western NY!
