So not the prettiest recipe, but it sure is the yummiest!!! I am French onion everything obsesssed. If I'm dinning out and see the words French onion anywhere, that will be what I order. Yeah that obsessed! Then hubby has a thing for all things ranch. His love for ranch definitely beats my love affair with French onion since he literally drowns every morsel of food he devours in the stuff!
No matter where you shop I swear there are always crazy deals on whole chickens!!! Most of the time I can't resist snagging one, but then I was always left wondereing what to even do with the thing. Things like BBQ sauce sure are yummy, but they get old rather quickly. So hubby and I decided to sprinkle a ranch packet & a onion soup packet onto a whole chicken & it was deliciousness at first bite! I now have the recipe tweeked to perfection & here to share with y'all!!!
1 Whole Chicken
1 Ranch Packet
1 Onion Soup Packet
Mix onion soup, ranch, 1 tsp garlic 1 tsp paprika together.
Cover chicken in the dry mix
place in the slow cooker for 4 hours on high.
After 4 hours, take the chicken out of the slow cooker & serve!!!
