So we did something REALLY exciting! We decided to add a new furbaby to the family! I’ve been a cat lover since the day I was born, dogs however? I’ve always been #TeamCat . Dogs just remind me of babies and I’m a one and done mama because babies and I just don’t mix! Too much work. I seriously do not know how you mama’s with multiple kiddos do it. After getting one kiddo through the baby years, I ran right to the gyno for an IUD lol.. Y’all are seriously super moms for being able to manage all of that work & still be some what sane since I lost my sanity with one lol...
My hubby and I have been battling the “dog issue” for years! He has always wanted a dog and has been very persistent on fighting for one. Finally a few weeks ago we decided to compromise. Only took him 7-8 years of begging for one. I told him if he were to adopt a smaller dog that I didn’t have to be scared would tackle me and have me crashing to the ground like I was in some WWE match, we could try this whole dog parent thing out.
So after browsing the interwebs for the perfect four legged addition to the family, we decided a Pomsky was the right choice. Half Pomeranian, which is totally girly & half Husky, which is totally a macho dog. It was the perfect compromise puppy since the biggest the pup would be is 20lbs!
Meet Princess Abby Cadabby
After spending about a week searching for the perfect Pomsky Pup, we decided Abby Cadabby was the pup for us! Beautiful blue eyes, fluffy fur and small in size, she was beyond perfect.
The next few weeks will sure be interesting! Maybe I will become a dog lover after a few snuggle sessions with Abby? Just looking at her beautiful blue eyes already has me wanting to spoil the crap out of her!
This whole dog parent thing is sure to be an adventure and I hope y’all follow along on our new dog parent journey!
Do you have any family pets?
