One of the easiest recipes you will ever make for the fam! I even hate admitting this, but this wannabe chef makes this pie more than she would like to admit! I’m one of those people in the summer that is convinced that she will make s’mores by the fire 24/7, so she obviously needs a million Hershey bars on hand for the occasion. Then we only make s’mores once and omg. We have so many Hershey bars sitting around!!!
What do you do with a stockpile of Hershey bars?!? Melt them and make pies of course!!!
so yum!!! So easy to make!! Best way to use up those Hershey bars sitting in your cupboard! Enjoy!
• 8oz Coolwhip
• Pre-Made Chocolate Pie Crust
• 12oz Hershey Chocolate
Place Hershey chocolate into a microwave safe bowl ( save a few squares for garnish) and heat for 30 seconds or until fully melted.
Once melted, add coolwhip.
Pour Hershey mixture into the chocolate pie crust.
Take a cheese grader to garnish the top of the pie with the remaining chocolate.
Place pie in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Serve & Enjoy!
Y’all know a show can’t come to Shea’s Buffalo without me hitting it up! It’s been awhile however since a Broadway show came to these parts that I haven’t already seen.
I was very fortunate to attend a high school with a killer music department, so all the classics? I had the chance to attend years ago! Then any traveling broadway show since? Your girl was definitely in attendance. Some people splurge on Jordan’s and Gucci hoodies, I splurge on handbags, Bath & Body Works and experiences.
So when I heard the broadway hit, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical was coming to Buffalo, I definitely purchased tickets for my daughter and I to attend!
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical
The beloved TV classic RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER soars off the screen and onto the stage this holiday season. Come see all of your favorite characters from the special including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Bumble the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life in RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER: THE MUSICAL. It’s an adventure that teaches us that what makes you different can be what makes you special. Don’t miss this wonderful holiday tradition that speaks to the misfit in all of us. Based on the animated television special “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and the stage production directed and conceived by Jeff Frank and First Stage. Script adaptation by Robert Penola. Arrangements by Timothy Splain. Orchestrations by William C. White. The performance of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is 90 minutes including 20 minute intermission.
If we are being completely honest, I went to this show with low expectations! I knew the show was aimed for a very young audience, so I wasn’t expecting much! Most kiddie shows have a tendency to be mediocre. So I’m shocked that I have nothing but positive things to say about this production! From the very first scene I was totally entertained! Every kid in the audience was also glued to the stage!!! So happy producers had both parents AND kids in mind when writing out the revamped script!
Rudolph the Musical claims to be a recreation of our childhood favorite holiday TV show so producers claim they were trying to stick as closely as possible to the TV version! I was actually super impressed at how faithful a rendition it was. Even musicals like Aladdin have added scenes and characters! Rudolph is a real deal recreation. All the details were spot on, down to the pink spotted elephant and the train with square wheels. The recreations were amazing!
I should also add that all of the non-human/elf/reindeer characters are played by puppets so it’s pretty entertaining to watch the puppeteers in their white costumes work their Rudolph magic!
If your kiddos are new to the theater life, I would recommend this show as a trial show! At just an hour and a half, including a 15 minute intermission, it’s shorter than a movie. The audience was also primarily families with kiddos of their own, so the crowd is more forgiving when your child’s stage whisper can be heard
throughout the theater.
you can also prep your kiddos ahead of time by watching the TV special first! They might have an easier time following the story, and knowing the characters when they hit the stage!
I would definitely recommend buying those tickets if Rudolph comes to town! Perfect family show! This would also make for a fun date night if theater is your thing! We purchased balcony tickets for a little under $30 a ticket and I would totally do it again! Definitely an awesome show if you can find a killer deal on seats! Worth every penny!
Have you seen Rudolph the Musical?
O my yum! One of my favorite appetizers just happens to be nachos! So yum! Always a crowed pleaser at any party or get together! They are also my go to when we are dining out with friends. Always a safe bet when you’re not sure who likes what since everyone likes nachos!
My newest twist has been adding pulled pork to my nachos! “Loaded Tots” are all the rage here in WNY & if were being 100% honest with each other, I’m more of a tortilla chip fan than tots! So I’ve been loading my chips with all the tot toppings and omg, so good!!! Perfect for that next big game party!!
• 3lbs Pork Roast
• Shredded Cheddar Cheese
• Diced Red Onion
• Coca Cola
• Tortilla Chips
• BBQ Sauce
• Sour Cream
Place pork roast in crockpot. Pour in one can Coca Cola. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
Drain and shred pork with a fork.
Spread tortilla chips out on a sheet pan. Sprinkle with cheese & chopped red onion.
Add pulled pork to the chips.
Squeeze bbq sauce on top of the nachos and place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 5 minutes or until cheese has fully melted.
Serve with sour cream and enjoy!

Just walked in the door from our Sunday trip to Buffalo to see Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer at Shea’s! For those of you without little ones at home, the answer is yes! There really is a touring broadway musical after Santa’s favorite reindeer and it’s actually pretty cute!
Since the Galleria Mall was just minutes away, we had to make a holiday bath bomb run at Lush Cosmetics since what is Christmas without festive bath bombs?!?!! My daughter is ridiculously obsessed with bath bombs thanks to YouTube and I sort of couldn’t be happier she chooses to be obsessed with one of my favorite things so I feed right into it!
Since Lush Cosmetics bath Bombs aren’t exactly the cheapest things on the planet. Like to get anything fun and festive, they are going to be costing $8+, we only scooped up 4! Those 4 bath bombs still cost a whooping $40something, so this is definitely one of my #BoujeeOnABudget posts lol. Mama has a tad bit more Christmas shopping to do, so 4 bath bombs was the cut off lol. Two Bubble bars for Haylie and two bath bombs for me!
Close your eyes, swish your Magic Wand in the tub as it fills, and your wish for mounds of sweet cotton candy-scented bubbles will be granted! There’s enough magic in this wand for several baths full of Snow Fairy-scented bubbles and sweet pink waters, so pop it on the side of your tub for the next time you need a magical bathtime escape.
Bubble Bars are expensive, but you really do get what you pay for! You can usually get 3 kids baths out of a bubble bar! 2 for an adult! I’ve actually tried to be extra boujee before with the mission of using a whole bubble bar for one bath and I couldn’t even do it! Cost $8.95
Trying to shake the winter blues? Santa’s got your back—and the rest of your body, too. This reusable bubble bar will fill your tub with snow white bubbles and the uplifting scents of neroli, zingy lime and crisp lemon myrtle. All you have to do to kick start this festive rejuvenation is hold the bar under running water and let Santa’s magical positivity do the rest.
This bubble bar will be Haylie’s Christmas Eve, Christmas Day bubble bar!!! So festive!! So cute!!! Cost $11.95
Before you enjoy the Snow Fairy’s sweet sensations, pop the top off this magical little pot and become a fairy yourself. Sprinkle this amazeball’s enchanting pixie dust into your bath and then slip into the warm sparkling water to make the transformation complete. Absorb the energy of the pink fizzing swirls as the sweet and citrus scents of synthetic musk and Persian lime transport you to a calmer place.
The star of this bath bomb actually pops off! I may just use this beautiful thing as two bath bombs #BoujeeOnABudget ;-) Cost ~ $8.95
Straight outta the Christmas workshop, this sweet-scented double-fizzer is ready to spread holiday cheer from tub to tub. Whether you choose to use one half and save the other for another day or use them both at once, Santa's sleigh is packed with a spicy-sweet blend of cocoa, vanilla and bergamot. For best results, enjoy with milk and cookies.
The Santa Bomb Bomb is literally HUGE!!!! I will definitely be using this baby as two bath bombs! It’s basically two in one! Cost ~ $10.95
Are you a bath bomb fan?
