It's always a fun day when I get something sent to me that my daughter can enjoy! With the school year almost at a wrap for the year, I'm in need of all the summer entertainment I can get my hands on for my daughter, so when Playmobil asked if we would partner with them for a post?!? Heck yeah we would! One more toy to entertain my daughter all summer long!
My daughter was sent the Playmobil Ice Cream Truck! Believe it or not, this was the first time I had ever heard of Playmobil! When I was a kid, if the words Princess or Barbie weren't in the toy title, I had zero interest in it. So once I found out Playmobil toys are things you piece together like a puzzle. I totally saw why they were so foreign to me.
My daughter however is obsessed with all things that require thinking and building. She's one of those kiddos all about stem. We always joke that she's going to grow up to be an engineer or architect, so Playmobil toys are right up her alley.
Recommended for ages four and up, the Ice Cream Truck comes with a variety of accessories to inspire your kiddos imagination. The truck has a driver that serves up the ice cream from the back where the side opens for a serving window. The top also comes off for easy access to the inside and all of its items. It is stocked with a blender, ice cream cones, ice cream sundaes, drinks, ice cream scoops and spoons! It even comes with a table and two friends eager to have their own ice cream cones.
My Daughters Thoughts?
She loved it!!! I was actually worried it would a tad bit too complicated for her to put together when I received the box in the mail. 64 pieces sounded like a lot to me. At 5 years old I would have never attempted to assemble such a toy. So I had her wait for my hubby to get home so he could help her with it since building type toys are not my forte. Silly me! Once the pieces were all laid out, she dove right in and knew exactly how to assemble the Playmobil Ice Cream Truck! My little smarty pants. She only needed hubby to assist with the stickers that needed to be put on the Playmobil Ice Cream Truck. Now that my daughter has the Playmobil Ice Cream Truck, she is already wanting to add to the collection, so it's safe to say Playmobil is a hit.
So if you have a stem loving, future engineer kiddo like myself, head on over to Playmobil and see what goodies they might have to entertain your kiddo all summer long!
