Since today is my wedding anniversary and I happened to get married wayyyy back when I still thought my dream of being a food blogger was going to happen, I never had the opportunity to show off my fabulous wedding to the interwebs since what person reading a foodie blog wants to see any of this ;-) Thankgod for the lifestyle interwebs community for making a brag post possible!
A week of helicopter rides, limos, poolside chillen at Rehab, balloon hats at Senior Frogs, shopping carts full of booze, tattoos at Hart & Huntington (minus me), all led up to our rehearsal dinner at Sugar Factory at Paris :)
Why Sugar Factory?!?
Have you seen the drinks?!? Makes me happy the chain has since expanded to other cities across the country! If you haven't been! Go ASAP. The candy drinks are to die for!
And then my wedding!!!! Took place at the gazebo in front of Ceasars Palace :)
The dress? A CourtneyLynne original folks. People always ask how you get a dress made for you. Well, if you know your size, there are people over in Asia that will make your dream dress! Literally. And it will be super high quality if you know the places to look online! I can send you info if you want more details on this ;-)
The brides made dresses came from the same place. The only custom part about those was the color. I wanted black instead of what they offered so they made them in black :) didn't even charge more for that which was AWESOME!
& the guys were decked out in Burberry since I have a Burberry obsession when it comes to guys clothing. Love the beige checker print!
This was probably the only part of my wedding that was pricey. You have to spend a minimum of 5k to even plan an event here. With your own personal wine sommelier at your table, the 5k minimum will be reached rather quickly, so this isn't exactly a budget friendly place lol....
The only bad part? they spelt my name wrong lol... Ughhh... But I wasn't going to let that ruin my day ;-)
This was seriously like a dream come true for me!!! My reception was everything I imagined and more. The Paris and Eiffle tower staff was amazing to work with! They helped plan every last detail and even did it all via email, which omg AMAZING since I have the biggest phone phobia ever lol.
They even found a florist to make the awesome flowers you see on the tables. I found those on Pinterst & they recreated them based off the photo I sent them! Best staff ever!!!
And the food!!!! Ahhhhh!!!!! My hubby says it was the best meal he had ever had in his life lol.
If you follow me on Instagram you know Steak & Lamb are our favorites, so of course those were dinner options on our menu along with a fish for my mom & maid of honor since they are vegetarians.
The onion soup though!!! Best soup ever! I am still searching the Internet for a copycat recipe. My hubby HATES soup and he still craves this soup! If anyone ever finds a copycat PLEASE send it my way! I will love you forever ;-)
And the cake! This was another Pinterst inspired thing & luckily for me the bakery that makes the cake I pinned, just happened to be 15 minutes away from the Vegas strip, so I got my identical Pinterst cake! Literally! That was probably the best Pinterst luck I ever had lol. I usually have the worst luck when it comes to that site!
And that folks was my dream wedding! Might not be ideal to most, but looking back it was everything I could of wanted even if I didn't act it while there ;) I'm convinced all weddings, even the destination fun ones, are filled with stress, but years later you realize how perfect it all really was.
Thankyou for letting me brag & go all barfyyy girly for the last few minutes & I promise to go back to the ridiculous, most out going quite girl, that can't spell in my very next post ;-) hey, I probably even spelled afew words in this post ;-)
CourtneyLynne is former model turned mommy & wifey! When not blogging all things foodie, fashion, travel, mom life & straight up fabulousness to the masses, she can be found chasing her toddler around in 6in stilettos & laughing at her own jokes her glass of wine told her to tell.
