As you know, my husband is very choosy about the food he eats, which is why I call him The Picky Eater. So, when he mentions that a recipe looks like a good one, of course I’m going to make it!

That’s what happened afew weeks ago. My Picky Eater saw an advertisement from Johnsonville that included a recipe for their Kielbasa Mac n Cheese & said it looked good.... So I took the recipe and we got the ingredients on a trip to the grocery store later that day.

And the verdict

It was actually really yummy! I would definitely make it again, but probably take this recipe and cut it in half! Unless you have an army to feed this exact recipe will leave you with leftovers for days lol....

**Recipe from Johnsonville**

INGREDIENTS 1 package Polish Kielbasa 4 cups water 3 cups elbow macaroni 1 teaspoon cornstarch 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese bread crumbs, optional

STEP ONE Slice up the Kielbasa

STEP TWO In a nonstick skillet, brown sausage over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Then put cooked sausage in a spare plate or bowl.

STEP THREE In the same skillet, bring water to a boil. Add pasta, reduce heat, stir often until pasta is al dente, about 8-10 minutes. (Do not drain).

I don't have a picky eater for a husband but If he was he would certainly enjoy this. This looks good. I think I have all the ingredients at home already. I might make this for dinner tonight. Easy peasy!!

This looks yummy. We used to eat Kielbasa and veggies all the time growing up, it definitely reminds me of family dinners.

This looks amazing even though I'm a vegetarian. I could make it without the meat. Luckily my husband is not a picky eater :)

Looks delicious, anytime you can mix two meals into one and make a good combo. That and you really can't go wrong with kielbasa or mac n cheese.
