Last night I went on the search to find my princess the perfect Valentines for her 2x2 class next week & while on the search I came across one of my favorite Valentines thingies from the past!
Treat inside cookie cutters!!!!
Back when my princess first discovered that she could open drawers last winter, for some reason my heart cutters were what she was always after & they ended up destroyed :( When last years Valentine's came, I would look for these when I was out, but never had any luck on replacing them. So long story short I found new ones!!! Yay!!! And they were dirt cheap at Walmart too!!! Double yay!!!! So now that I have my handy dandy heart cookie cutters back we obviously had to have a heart shaped sandwich picnic with our new mommy/princess lunch boxes the nice people over at Hango sent us!!
And since this is the current weather conditions here in Antarctica we settled with an indoor picnic!
If you and your princess would Like to purchase a set of these fabulous lunch boxes you can do so by clicking the link below! & if you have a prince.... Do not worry Hango makes a black set of lunch boxes as well ;-)

What a cute idea! I'm getting creative here and thinking you can do that with a lot of different shapes, you just need to have two different sizes. It's a great way to customize cookies, sandwiches or pretty much anything and give them a fun treat. Love love love!

I love when people use cookie cutters for kid sandwiches, I think it is such a cute idea. But it has such a bigger benefit. Some kids are picky eaters and a simple thing as to making food fun could help them eat. I love that you did a picnic inside with your little one. Such a great way to spend some time together! =)

The Jelly Heart Sandwich is just adorable! My daughter would love it! What a cute idea especially during the month of February. We try to keep a heart theme as much as we can. So far it's been toast, pancakes, and cookies. I guess we will be adding jelly sandwiches to the mix. The cookie cutter with two sizes is awesome. I am going to keep on the lookout for one! We live right by Walmart so there may be a trip very soon! Diane Sullivan

Your daughter is such a little sweetheart, posing for the pictures (and I bet just dying to take a bite out of those little heart shaped sandwiches you made for her). She'd probably be talk of the lunch time cafeteria bringing those awesome shaped goodies in, especially this week coming up - V Day!!! :)

Isn't it true, that is just takes a little something to make our kiddos happy? I actually just got a Mickey Mouse Sandwich Cutter at Wal-Mart, and you wont believe how happy it makes my three year old! It's so easy too! These heart shaped sandwiches are adorable!

Oh I bet she loved the heart sandwiches and that indoor picnic. I would not want to have a picnic in that awful weather either. I love that picnic set it is adorable and you don’t see that often in pink!

What a great idea! I love turning the kids' sandwiches into fun shapes. It's more interesting for them, and makes them eat more. I'm sure all moms out there have just bookmarked your page for reference hehe!

Those sandwiches are so cute. I really miss making Valentine crafts and getting those cute exchange cards for my daughter to trade at school. She's a teen now *sigh*

I am going to have to find me one of those cookie cutters. Kiddo and I would have so much fun filling cookies up with stuff. Of course, we'd have to give some away so we weren't sitting around eating them all. LOL
