I don't know why, but I just love cooking in the fall! One of my fall "goals" is to actually blog some of my favorite, yet not so pretty recipes. We live in this land where bloggers focus so much on what looks pretty for Pinterest, that a lot of deliciousness unfortunately gets skipped. Well, regardless of how some of the photography comes out, I'm blogging my "not so pretty" favs! Even if I don't get a single pin lol...They are yummy and deserve to be shared.
Thankfully this recipe, Garlic Parmesan Roasted Potatoes came out looking decent via camera! Now I can only hope to have this luck with the rest I have planned for you all. Enjoy!
1 TBSP Galic
1/4 TSP Pepper
1 TSP Salt
2 TBSP Olive Oil
2 TBSP Butter
Take a bowl and soak your potatoes in water for about 30 minutes! Optional ~ sprinkle salt in the water to add some flavor to the potatoes.
After 30 min , remove potatoes from the water and let them dry off a bit.
Slice the potatoes in half!
Grease your pan you are using to bake the potatoes.
In a pan, melt you butter and add your garlic, salt, pepper & olive oil. Mix well.
Once your butter mix is completely melted, soak your potatoes in the butter yumminess!
Lay your potatoes on your greased pan.
Bake your potatoes on 350 for about 45 minutes. If you're like me and like them super crispy, 1 hour! Just make sure if you keep them in longer than 45 minutes to watch them so they don't begin to burn!
After 45min-1 hour, depending on how you like your potatoes, take them out, drizzle any left over butter mix you have onto the potatoes & sprinkle your Parmesan ontop. Throw back in the oven for 3-5 minutes!
Take out of the oven. Serve & enjoy!
