I don't know if it's because I'm originally from the south or what, but fall and winter definitely take a toll on my body! The cold, Antarctica-like weather of the North and I just don't mix & my body likes to remind me that I was made for the poolside chill life far too often! Long story short, this goal kicking mama that can usually give the Enerigizer Bunny a run for his money can get rather sluggish this time of year.
Being a mama with one hectic work schedule and a ridiculously long bucket list, I flat out don't have time to lay in bed and recover from anything life might throw my way so I take as many procausions as I can! You will see me choosing healthier selections during meal time, drinking plenty of water, washing my hands constantly & loading up on vitamins!!!
My all time favorite, go-to for my vitamin needs is Emergen-C! Packed with 7 B vitamins that enhance energy naturally & with over 20 flavors, you have plenty of delicious varieties to choose from!!! I just flat out feel better taking my Emergen-C during the winter months because my health is important to me!
Emergen-C is packed with B vitamins, antioxidants†, electrolytes plus more vitamin C than 10 oranges^.
†Vitamin C, Zinc and Manganese ^Based on using the USDA.gov nutrient database value for a large, raw orange With this much info how could a busy mama like yourself not fill your purse with Emergen-C packets for your daily vitamin intake on the go?!?! Since I'm Emergen-C obsessed, I even came up with my very own Super Fruit Green Tea for when I'm feeling extra sluggish and need a super boost of energy!
Ingredients
1 Packet Emergen-C
1 Lemon
1 Pomegranate 1/4 honey 1/4 coconut oil A bottle of your favorite green tea
Slice your pomegranate
Slice your lemon
Place a few lemons into a glass
add 1/4 coconut oil. Make sure it's liquified/soft before adding.
add 1/4 honey. I recommend an organic honey! Read the label and make sure it's not a "syrup" honey substitute for full benefits.
Pour in one packet of Super Fruit Emergen-C Pomegranate.
Add some fresh pomegranate to your glass.
Pour your green tea into the glass and mix well.
Ta-Da!!! You now have yourself one drink you will forever be hooked on!!! It legit taste so sweet, you will forever be craving this Emergen-C Super Fruit Green Tea!!! Nothing better when you actually crave something that helps give your body a boost right?!?! Not everyday that happens! Plus the single serving packets make it so convenient. Taking your Emergen-C every day will definitely give you peace of mind.
Not sure where to pickup a box of Emergen-C? I typically pick mine up at Walgreen’s, all easily found in the aisle near the pharmacy!
