Any Cubed Steak fans out there?! When I was little my dad had a Luby's Cafeteria obsession. We ate their constantly and one of the entrees I would choose was Cubed Steak! So obviously once I grew up I had to create my own way to prepare it at home.
Now, I know Cubed Steak sometimes has a bad rep for being tough and chewy, but not if it’s cooked in a crockpot!! Every thing comes out all tender and yummy when cooked all day in the thing!!!! I swear that fabulous cooking contraption saves the day with so many recipes.
So next time you're at the market and see a killer deal on a package of Cubed Steak, toss it in the cart and know my Crockpot Cubed Steak recipe has you covered.
4 Cubed Steaks
1 Can French Onion Soup
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Jar Bistro Au Jus
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tablespoon Corn Starch
Pour your French Onion Soup, Bistro Au Jus, Cream of Chicken Soup & Water into the crockpot.
Toss your Cubed Steaks in and cook on low for 5 hours.
After 5 hours, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of Corn Startch into the crockpot. Mix well & cook for another hour on low.
Serve & Enjoy!
