Happy New Year!!! I don’t know how the weather is in your neck of the woods, but here in WNY? Can we say brrrrrr!!!!!! Bitter cold, snow and unfortunately it’s not going anywhere anytime soon!!!! Definitely comfort food made in my handy dandy Crock Pot weather that’s for sure.
One thing I always make sure to have on hand this time of year is a bag of frozen meatballs since one of the family’s favorite winter meals is Swedish Meatballs! With an IKEA no where in site in these parts, we have to settle with making delicious Swedish Meatballs at home! I know, we really have to rough it in these parts!
1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 (14 oz)can beef broth
1 packet dry onion soup mix
2 tbsp. A1 steak sauce
1 (2 lb) bag frozen meatballs
1 Cup sour cream
1 package egg noodles
1. In the crock pot, mix the cream of chicken soup, A1 Sauce, Dry 2. Onion Mix and beef broth.
3. Stir in the frozen meatballs.
4. Cook on high for 4 hours.
5. Add the sour cream, mixing it in well, and allow to cook for another 30 minutes.
For a meal, serve over egg noodles & enjoy!
