My famous cranberry sauce!!! For years I literally thought I was the most creative wannabe chef of all times since I put apple cider in my cranberry sauce!!! My secret weapon to dominating cranberry sauce. When most people opted for orange juice, I reached for that Apple cider!!! Then along came Pinterest shattering my cranberry sauce ego and letting me know others are just as creative in the kitchen!
Regardless of how many people make cranberry sauce using cider, all I know is it’s so god damn delicious that everyone needs to make their cranberry sauce this way! Enjoy!!!!
• 12oz Bag Cranberries
• 1 Cup Sugar
• 1/2 Cup Water
• 1/2 Cup Apple Cider
Add cranberries, sugar & to a pot.
Pour in the apple cider. Stir. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring regularly until the cranberries fall apart and the mixture reduces to a thick, chunky sauce.
Cool to room temperature before serving.
