Summer is right around the corner folks!!!! Nothing better than sipping on a delicious cocktail poolside. One of my all time favorite liquors is Parrot Bay!! I even had a bottle of Parrot Bay sitting at my Mimosa Bar in the bridal suite at my wedding.
My all time mixer for Parrot Bay happens to be pineapple juice. The combination makes you feel like you’re on a tropical island vacation!! Just because you can’t afford that trip to Fiji this year doesn’t mean you can’t pretend while floating on your Unicorn float at the pool. Cheers!!!
• Pineapple Juice
Take a normal sized shot glass. Fill the shot glass with Parrot Bay and pour that shot into your martini shaker. No shaker? No problem! Just pour that shot into a large glass. You can use a spoon to mix the cocktail by hand later.
Next, that that pineapple juice and fill your martini shaker.
Once you have your shot of Parrot Bay and your pineapple poured into your martini shaker, close up your shaker and shake away!!!!
One your drink is nice and shaken, grab a martini glass and pour your cocktail!
And just like that, you now have the most tropical drink ready to be sipped on. Now grab that unicorn float and head to the pool with your delicious cocktail. Time pretend you’re on that tropical vacation you have been dreaming of!!! Cheers!
A Cranberry Lemon Drop is a delightful way to celebrate the holidays, all in one gorgeous chilled glass. This festive drink is just the right balance of crisp and fruity, with a slight touch of sweetness!
This Cranberry Lemon Drop is a delicious, simple recipe to accompany any meal and make your holiday merry and bright.
The addition of rosemary adds the true taste of the holidays that I cherish so much. As soon as you take that first sip you’ll realize that this deliciousness is the drink you won’t want to live without when Christmas rolls around every year.
Cranberry Lemon Drop
Cranberry Lemon Drops:
I really hope you guys get the chance to relax and enjoy the holidays with a Cranberry Lemon Drop. A glass of this yumminess in one hand, a cookie in the other, and a small child shooting nerf gun darts at you repeatedly (hey they’ve got to have fun too!). It’s what Christmas is all about.
It's almost the best booze day of the year my friends!!! International Champagne day, I mean New Years Eve ;-) Obviously it's no secret that I have a love affair with all things boozey. Champagne however just happens to be my favorite! I am such a bubbley contisure that Champagne has become a "person" when I'm out and about with my friends. One of my besties & I can't walk two steps when out together without someone asking us how our bff champagne is doing since champagne is always in our hands.
Since bubbles are what I am known for, I thought I would pass on my knowledge of all things bubbly under $20! Champagne newbies constantly ask me for bottle selection advice past the Asti & Andres. If you're a champagne lover like myself, yes, not all of these bottles are a true champagne, but they all do bubble and will make a fabulous beverage of choice when ringing in the new year if you're on a budget! So this post is for all of you ballers on a budget! You can still ring in the new year drinking something delicious without the cost! They have all passed the CourtneyLynne taste test too since I have tried them all :)

Don't get me wrong, I will pop any of those bottles at a heart beat, but Veuve Clicquot really does out taste them all!! If you feel like shelling out a few extra dollars, you champagne newbies will be in love! PS ~ The Vueve Rose is worth the few extra bucks as well ;-)
Though it’s instilled in our heads that champagne is a luxury beverage only fit for celebratory occasions, or tables at the club! Believe it or not, its easy drinkability and food-friendly nature makes champagne one fabulous every day drink.
Thankfully the holiday season offers one heck of an excuse to purchase as many bottles as possible! Many producers have even released limited edition, specially-designed bottles geared to holiday gifting. Below, I have come up with a collection of the 10 most show-stopping Champagne bottles I could find on the net! A mix of high end, everyday, and limited-run creations—that are as eye-catching as they are delicious!
Ohh, Turkey Day!!! I'm beyond obsessed with this ultimate feast and the ever-swelling gathering of family and friends crammed into a too-tiny, hectic and utterly delicious-smelling kitchen. I adore the sight of hands everywhere eager to help prepare, stories being shared and everyone sitting down together to a veritable smorgasbord. And while this uniquely American holiday's history has given us a fairly good idea of what to eat, the question of what to drink is perhaps not so easily answered.
To start, let's get one thing out of the way! There's not a "right" or a "wrong" wine to slam with your pie, but there are wines that just might be more likely send you to sensory elation. So, where to start?
Zinfandel could very well be the #1 All-American Thanksgiving wine choice given that it was once the most planted variety in California (prior to the Prohibition era). Here’s how this wine will behave when paired with food:
Pinot Noir is the fine-wine lover’s #1 pick for Thanksgiving, which is due (in large part) to the grape’s prestigious pedigree tracing back to Burgundy, France.
Rosé or Blanc de Noirs Champagne
This is a sommelier’s must-have wine for Thanksgiving because, for a somm, you can’t really start a meal without a splash of something sparkling wine. Here’s why:
One of the most aromatics of whites, Riesling meets the big flavors of the day with a bushelful of fruit. And as whites go, the variety is also deceptively mouth-filling and braced with acidity, giving it the wherewithal to keep up with everything from the sweet potatoes to the sausage in the dressing. And in this case, a touch of sweetness in the wine is your friend.
