I may hate fall here in New York since it is FREEZING. I swear we only get two season here. Winter and Spring. Boo! But fall does bring one totally awesome thing with it, football! One of the only good things about fall is lazy football Sundays lounging around in front of the TV in my PJ’s!
Now that my daughter is older, we have been playing around with the idea of taking her to a football game. Only issue is we live in the Buffalo region. Buffalo fans are notorious for their obnoxious behavior. The games are ridiculously fun for a day date. Hubby and I have gone to many, but I wouldn’t take a little one. You just never know what you will encounter.
One random afternoon while scrolling my Facebook feed I spotted an advertisement for Buffalo Bills Kids Day ticket’s from a ticket site. I was intrigued at the idea that the Buffalo Bills have a Kids day. Could it be? I can take my child to a game and so many kids would be in attendance that all the shenanigans that happens at most games would be obsolete? So I decided to google it & then bought tickets once I realized it was a legit event.
The event ran from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. We arrived at around 1:30 and had plenty of time to have fun before the game. Buffalo Bills Kids Day was filled with a variety of activities, including mini golf, a rock climbing wall, a mechanical Bills helmet ride and more! They even had super cool photo opts. Lines did get pretty long for those beyond fabulous Insta pics. But it was totally worth it.
Prior to entering the stadium we had the chance to enjoy a variety of food truck offering from places such as Cibo, Buffalo’s Best, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, and Ms. Judi! Once inside New Era Field, the Buffalo Bills Kids Day deal included $2 hot dogs, Pepsi products, and water. Safe to say we had an awesome time even before the game began. We will definitely be going back next year!
Who do you root for on Football Sunday?
