I cannot believe we are just a few weeks shy of cooking that delicious Turkey Day meal & less than a month out from all the Christmas party planning extravaganza fun! One of my favorite parts of the most wonderful time of the year would have to be menu planning!
Whether it's Thanksgiving Dinner, your company Christmas Party or even a small holiday gathering with the besties, we all know if you nail your menu, your guest will leave happy since they have a full belly.
Unfortunately for all us party hostess extrodinaires of the world, menu planning can be just as stressful as it is fun! One would think all you have to do is search sites like Pinterest for foods that look pretty and bam! Menu complete. But, with all the dietary restrictions people have these days, gluten free, vegan or even those who suffer from heartburn to name a few, y'all definitely give us a run for our money.
One item I have on my menus regardless of dietary restrictions is some sort of cheese dish. Cheese is one of my favorite foods after all, so it must make an appearance at any shindig I throw! Plus with products like Nexium® 24HR 42ct Tablets at our local Walgreens stores to help prevent heartburn, how could I not serve this yumminess to my guests?!?
Today I'm here to share a holiday cheesy favorite of mine,
Baked Brie In A Crescent Roll Crust.
Ingredients
1 Wheel of Brie
Honey Crumbled Pecans Crescent Rolls (I used a Crescent Seemless Dough Sheet)
Roll your Crescent Rolls out on a nonstick silicon baking sheet or pan.
Place your wheel of Brie in the middle of your dough & coat in honey.
Sprinkle your pecans ontop of the honey.
This is how I folded the dough! Just fold each corner over. It's the easy peasy, fool proof way! Any extra dough hanging out, just tuck under the Brie make a perfect circle.
Bake the brie at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes, carefully pull the oven rack out without removing the brie from the oven.
Quickly drizzle with honey.
Then sprinkle with the remaining pecans. Slide the Brie back in the oven and continue baking for another 5 minutes.
** be careful, if you leave the pecans in the oven too long they will start to burn**
Take the Brie out of the oven & enjoy!!!!
This cheesy deliciousness is really best shared with others, so it makes a beyond fabulous appetizer for any of your holiday festivities coming up!
Unfortunately for many of us, like I mentioned above, heartburn can really put a damper on all that yummy holiday eating! Cheese, nuts, Baked Brie in a Crescent Rolls Crust, you name it, can easily spoil a delicious meal due to heartburn . If you've never experienced heartburn, omg!!!! Let's just say dozens of us, including myself are very jealous!
Well, lucky for you I have some awesome news! With a little planning, you can once again partake in all those cheesy, spicy, nutty, flat out delicious foods with no worries. Nexium® 24HR 42ct Tablets can give you all-day and all-night protection against heartburn, though it's important to note that it does NOT provide immediate relief. Since it may take 1-4 days for the full effect, it's essential to focus on preparedness! Nexium® 24HR is for frequent heartburn, so that means that it keeps working its magic even after all those holiday indulgences!
If things like Baked Brie in a Crescent Roll Crust are holiday favorites of yours PLEASE don’t let frequent heartburn ruin your holiday eating fun!!
