This week for our day of relaxation & Cowboys football, we chowed down on some slow cooker buffalo chicken sliders!!
This is another simple one folks! Only 4 ingredients, 5 if you count the rolls. Chicken, buffalo sauce, butter & a packet of dry ranch dressing! & since I'm still on my everything has to be mini kick.... we used dinner rolls as slider buns!
And don't worry if you are on a no carb diet... just swap out the buns for lettuce & you can enjoy a delicious buffalo chicken lettuce wrap for a yummy game day twist ;-)
4-6 chicken breasts
Buffalo Sauce ( I recommend not using anchor bar if eating anything on bread. ends up way too runny and sloppy Joe like. Buffalo soggy bread isn't that great lol :-/)
Packet of dry ranch dressing
optional --- bread
throw chicken, half bottle sauce & half packet of ranch. Mix together & cook on low for 5 1/2 hrs
the ugly step -_- drain everything out of the crock pot after 5 1/2 hrs. A lot of people and recipes I've read on Pinterest skip this step but do not skip! too much chicken greese and when eating on bread... too messy!!! Drain!!!! lol
Add the second half of sauce, second half of ranch & 1 tsp of butter into the crock pot and cook for 30 more mins or until mixture is hot.
slice up after 6hrs
Spread on bun of your choice and enjoy!!!
